Manning vs Brady

ESPN.com is running a front-page Simmons dissection of the NFL's Manning and Brady. I stopped reading after Simmons (who I love) claimed "despite a ramshackle supporting cast" Brady has achieved. OK, I do respect how fast the Patriots implement new players (rookie TE's), but this is why the debate is wrong. Brady is a Patriot. He is apart of Bill B.'s incredible schemes and has always had great players, great defense, and great leadership around him. PEYTON IS INDIANAPOLIS. After Dungy left, we still haven't hired a coach. Look at the Jets games, we almost won.

    Peyton is a goddamn one-man slaughterhouse and every defense in the NFL knows it. Case closed, dinner is served!

    after reading his whole article all i have to say is it seems bill simmons is trying way too hard to make this into a big deal. his comparison to tupac and biggie is ridiculous, and about 50 percent of his article is crap that is just there to fill the page.
